Mission and Strategy
The Sustainable Building is very important for several international organizations as well as is a strategic area for European Union. The EU has declared the Sustainable Building as an emerging market with top priority.
On the other hand, the current economic situation in the Canary Islands shows that it is fully necessary to find alternative measures focused to mitigate inner weakness and to promote our strengths.
The Sustainable Building Cluster (SBC) answers two questions. First, we pretend to put into action EU sustainability proposal in order to get competitive advantage by means of betting for an emerging market such as Sustainable Building. We are becoming pioneers in this sector in Canary Islands as well as in the national scale. We are working to lead this vision and trying to compete with a long term perspective.
And second, we have been collaborating among our different enterprises since 2005, and we consider that our inner strength resides in our healthy and fluent relationships. SBC is a structure born to formalized and consolidate this past work, besides of a determined project to translate our ideas into realities having sustainability and development in our DNA.
